This is a unique program that aims at providing a platform to the slum children for bringing out talent and skills in various art forms such as painting, pottery, theatre, dance etc. This experiment has met with great success. Started in the Year 1997 with the help of Mobile Crèche who conducted theme-oriented workshops for the construction workers children. If the learning is fun and entertaining no child would refuse education. This activity has created sufficient motivation for the children to continue their regular educational curriculum. This activity is one of the key elements of the total learning and education model that has been experimented with. It met with a great success in no time.
38 children from Vidyapeeth, Pathshala & Gurukul of the age group 5 to 14 Years staged "Alibaba and Chalis Chor" in Delhi, Calcutta (1200 kms. away from Delhi) ,Simla, Chandigarh and received on overwhelming response. As a result of latent talents identified 6 children have since been selected for Television Serials, Movie roles, Advertisements which have made a tremendous impact on the children and also encouraged others to participate in these activities.
This Scintillating Program aims at bringing out talent from the rural and slums women & children in various art forms such as painting, theatre, pottery and other performing arts. Theatre in Education concept is used to educate children a lot many things in life. Shikasharth have taken help of the experts from NATIONAL SCHOOL OF DRAMA and people from other creative fields. It has so far reached out to over 1700 beneficiaries.  
With these Godforsaken children Literacy India has come up with variety of of outstanding stage productions such as PIED PIPER, ALIBABA, CHARANDAS CHOR, HUMARI KAHANI, THUG THUGE GAYE and PINTI KA SABUN.
In Himachal Pradesh, India, the children have performed in front of the Governor who then invited the children to his house for tea. This excursion HUMARI KAHANI was staged for the President of India in Rashtrapati Bhwan on 21 stNOV.2003. CharanDas Chor & Humari kahani was adjudged as of the best play in Jashnebachpan- National Children’s Theatre Festival.
Under this project children were exposed to many outings like watching play or visit museums or a planetarium. Rapturous JOY RIDE on AIRBUS-320 on CHILD RIGHT`S DAY gave impetus and increased the quality of work of Literacy India.
