Enterprise Development

Fostering entrepreneurship and sustainable livelihoods.

Introduction & Overview

The Enterprise Development program focuses on equipping marginalized women and youth with job-specific skills and fostering entrepreneurship to ensure sustainable livelihoods.

Designed to reduce economic inequalities, the program provides comprehensive training, market-oriented skill-building, and livelihood assistance.

Aligned with Literacy India’s pillars of Education, Employability, and Empowerment, the initiative emphasizes “Earn while you Learn” and leverages Gyantantra Udbhav for adult education and skill training. The program particularly targets tribal districts and underdeveloped communities, linking them to modern livelihood options and creating pathways for self-reliance.
